We have just spent two weeks in Sri Lanka and all we can say is WOW! This place has everything that you would want in a holiday, friendly people, uncrowded surf breaks and palm tree lined beaches.
We kind of don't want to share this gem of a place.. but if you are looking for a chilled out beach with mainly just you on it, look no further than the Beach House, Hiriketiya.
Located east of Dikwella on the south coast , owned by Bondi locals, Marty and Georgia and their son Arlo, this place was the perfect secret, sandy bay for some serious downtime.
Ohhh and did we mention that you can roll out of bed, onto the beach in front of you and there's a nice little empty surf break.. pure paradise ..but shhhhh don't tell everyone..
